NO It was not worth the hassel!!!!!!!!! Tell the fair board to take a hike The run itself was great, but the fair board took all of the gate fee, was going to cancel the race. ( That would have been nice to explain to the racers, and spectators with the price of fuel and all.) Made us park in the gravel, then we had to carry all of the equipment across the lot to where the mud truck was located. Then an hour after the race started, they told us we had to move our tow rigs out of the gravel area, because of a wedding reception. WHAT A BITCH .
I enjoyed the race, but really the fair board screwed James bad. If I were putting another race on there, i'de cancell and find someplace else to have it. I heard alot of racers complaining about the crap we had to go through. That just may keep them from coming back. Hardcore racers will show up, but anybody that travels any distance at all, and goes through that, well, that just leaves a bad taste in their mouth.
That's our .02 cents, for what it's worth _________________ 2007 POINTS CHAMPION 40" OUTLAW

I WASN'T THERE FOR THE WHOLE SHOW BUT THE RACERS I DID TALK TO SAID ABOUT THE SAME AS JERRY SAID AND SAID THAT THERE WAS TOO MUCH DRINKING GOING ON WITH THE STAFF AND SOME OF THE MUD RACERS WEREN'T FINDING OUT WHO TO FOLLOW AND THAT MADE FOR A LONG DRAWN OUT SHOW AND THAT IS THE DRIVERS FAULT AS MUCH AS ANYONES
AS A SPECTATOR IT WAS A LITTLE SLOW AS IN THE TRUCKS GETTING TO THE LINE AND THAT WAS THE MAIN REASON THAT MY FATHERINLAW AND I LEFT EARLY HAD A GREAT TIME TALKING TO EVERYONE AND WATCHING THE TRUCKS RUN THAT DID
WORKERS SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO DRINK AND THE FAIR BAORD SHOULD STAND BEHIND WHAT THEY AGREE TOO _________________ LIFE IS LIKE MUD RACING SOMETIMES IT'S EASY AND SOMETIMES IT'S HARD JUST KEEP TRYING AND YOU'LL MAKE IT |

James heard from Martha (fair board) and said Bob was wrong and should get our cut despite what happened. We are waiting to see if they come through with the money but will let you know as soon as we get it. Sorry about all the trouble you all went through. Thanks for the support. _________________ Montie |
