How much HP are most people running in lets say the 38" class? It may seem like a dumb ??? but I am planning a motor build and just want a goal to shoot at........ |

38.5 STOCK CLASS MOST ARE RUNNING AROUND 400 TO 500 SOME MIGHT BE BETTER THAN THAT BUT NOT MANY 400 IS A GOOD RUNNING TRUCK MOST BIG BLOCKS ARE 350 OR SO STOCK BUT WITH A FEW CHANGES IT ISN'T HARD TO GET 500 OUT OF A BIG BLOCK
CUBIC DOLLARS IS THE GAME _________________ LIFE IS LIKE MUD RACING SOMETIMES IT'S EASY AND SOMETIMES IT'S HARD JUST KEEP TRYING AND YOU'LL MAKE IT |

BTW, Anybody lookin for a VERY good motor guy, let me know, he builds excellent drag motors, he can do alcohol motors, ect. He knows his shit and is very very reasonably priced, cheaper than anyone else but his quality is unmatched, he can do complete overhauls, head work, anything you need, and like i said, very very reasonably priced |

ok, they have started on my new motor, its a 400 sbc bored 30 over, lt1 rods, flat top pistons, cast 64cc heads, roller rockers, .540 lift cam, 7 qt oil pan, list goes on, should have adequate power. should i go with gear-drive timing or just the double roller setup? |
