do any of you guys run welded rear ends? give me some input on this or if i should just wait and buy a locker or spool..... |

ok, well im putting a lot of money into a new motor right now and would also like to buy a new set of tires, would a welded work for now until a locker or spool was bought? or should i just leave it open until buying a spool or locker? |

its what ever you feel like will work the best, but if you leave it open its alot easier to put the spool in when you get it....... _________________ FORD POWER, THERE IS NO OTHER!!!! |

A MINI SPOOL IS ONLY ABOUT $50 IT IS GOOD FOR AROUND 500 TO 600 HP OR BETTER FULLSPOOL IS ABOUT $140 _________________ LIFE IS LIKE MUD RACING SOMETIMES IT'S EASY AND SOMETIMES IT'S HARD JUST KEEP TRYING AND YOU'LL MAKE IT |

how did you do your welding (what part did you weld, spiders only, carrier, ect)? also did you use a 1018 stick or what?

weld up the spider gears together, the axel gears to the case using nikel rod. _________________ deep mud |
