I recently became owner of an 89 K5 blazer, I am gonna have a 355 motor built, have fuel injection tuned for the motor, and i was doing some suspension work, I got a 4" spring lift in a trade and was wondering can i just build some shackles for front springs to lift about 2.5 more inches, and if so will i need to put a shim under spring to retain pinion angle? Anybody done this before? If so any idea on what degree shim i should go with? I am wanting to clear some 37's for 37" super stock class, but still be able to run 33" thornbirds on street. Thanks for any help.......
