Wow.  I'm not sure what else to say.  I think this may well be my favorite of yours yet.  It's somber, it's poignant, it's literature.  That may be the best way I can describe it:  Beautifully painful literature.

And while it was about grieving and sorrow, you still managed to paint a completed picture of the surrounding Guild.  Such attention to details, to people, to clans, to the rituals, and to my favorite scene, the laying of the grave gifts.
