Just got this from David Finch. Gambit is on the cover to X-Men #200. There will be at least 4 variant covers. One of them as depicted here shows Gambit in his original costume/design. The image below features the 4 covers that David is doing for this milestone issue. The 4 covers will connect to form one massive image (as depicted below).
*edit* I just realized that Lord Evan had posted this in another thread. Sorry for being a day late and a buck short.

couple more months GG.
Here's what the original artwork that David Finch and Danny Miki did before Frank D'Armata colored it.
If you wish to purchase the original art to these 4 covers the current bid is up to around $25,000. (yep enough for a down payment on a house). I tried, but that's too rich for my blood.

That is bloody expensive.
I almost wish I had that amount, just to own something so beautiful, but alas I am but a poor student.
