The random factoids:

Name: Nico
Location: Ohio
Age: 27
Birthday: August 17
Eye colour: brown
Shoe size: 8 1/2
How did you find out about this board? From the former defunct but re-instated and orignal Gambit Guild.

The interesting stuff:

What was the last book you read? Dreamquake by Elizabeth Knox

What was the last thing you ate? Leftovers.

Do you prefer pirates or ninjas? Pirates, they're better dressers.

What is on your desktop right now? Computer desktop or work desktop?  The former, Gambit and work related icons.  The latter, lots of old papers.

Do you have any tattoos? uh, no.

What is your favourite ice cream? You spelled "favorite" wrong. Wink

What is your favourite alcoholic drink?  Use Spellcheck, you crazy Europeans.

Where was the last place you went on holiday? Put-in-Bay, Ohio

Can you do a back flip? I can do a back flop.

The fun stuff:

Share a totally random fact with us: Cats carry a parasite that causes toxoplasmosis, which causes brain alterations in humans, making humans more likely to take risks, more attractive to the opposite sex, and more likely to get another cat.

Tell us an embarrassing story:  I got drunk at a New Years party, and told this one girl she was the stupidest person I'd ever met.  It made her cry.  I'm pretty embarrassed by that, but the truth was, she was only one of many stupid people I've met.  Probably not the stupidest, but at least in the top five.

Tell us a joke: What's Irish, rusty, and sits out on your deck year round?

Patty O'Furniture.

Describe yourself in 10 words or less:  Bored.

Ask us a question of your choosing: Is anyone really going to read this?

The preferences:

Summer or winter? Summer.
Gold or silver? Gold.
Day or night? Day.
Cats, dogs or ferrets? Cats and fish.
Lazy weekend or busy weekend? They start out lazy, then get busy.
Ultimate Gambit or regular Gambit? All Gambit, all the time.
Flip-flops or sandals? Sandals.
Steak or salad? Salad.
One pillow or two? Two.

Welcome aboard!

Nice embarrasing story. I tell people they're stupid all the time though, so they don't stand out much for me!

Greetings.

It's nice to see some new blood here, especially another Pirate.

Have fun on the board and don't worry, we don't bite too hard.

And if they do bite just come to me, I've had to fix more bites on myself than i care to disclose. Needless to say I'm very good at helping that.

Welcome, BTW.

Well, I may be new blood here at least, but I started reading X-Men comics when I was 12, around the same time the XTAS came out.  I read the books, was a member of the Gambit Guild (the other one), and even wrote fanfic until the end of the first Gambit series when I gave up with Marvel.

My obsessions (My Little Ponies and Harry Potter) are cyclical, and I've come back 'round to Gambit again.  Maybe this time I won't be so disappointed.

Nice meeting y'all! Thanks for keeping me up to date.

Of course! It can be very euthoric when done properly! Wink Razz

And NP....I think you'll find alot of us got into comics like that and I know what you mean about cycles. I got into X-Men and Gambit when I was about 15 for 5 yrs then 'gave them up' for five years and then got back into them/him again when I was at a particularly low point in my life and I wanted to enjoy that feeling of having something to collect again! (Not to mention cos Remy's HOT!)
