I'm back...ok, ok, that's not the good news. The good news is I come bearing gifts. Such as an interview from Uncannyxmen.net with Mike Carey. Here's the link: Carey Interview

Hearing of the return of Gambit after 200 what types of changes can we see from him in personality, powers, and possibly looks?
MC -- I’d just direct you to the David Finch cover on that one. And I’d also say keep watching until #207 before you come to any conclusions.
Which X-characters (heroes or villains) would you like to see given more of the spotlight, but are currently not members of any team?
MC -- Well Gambit’s got to come back at some point, and sooner rather than later.
- What do you think of Gambit's "gas" powers?
MC -- Umm… I prefer his regular powers.
- What is your take on the Gambit-Rogue relationship? Do you like them apart or together?
MC -- Both. But since I inherited a situation where they’d been split up, I’m not going to revert to the status quo just automatically and immediately. I do want to give them a chance to meet up, though. And it’s going to happen soon.
-Can they love other people?
MC -- Yes. Everyone can, given the right circumstances.
The excitement I experience for the return of the Marauders is really high, I need to know, which one of the old ones will make the cut and will Gambit & Sunfire be with them?
MC -- See answer above. They’re all there except for one, and that one is missing for good and sufficient reasons. Gambit and Sunfire… well, they’re certainly going to be in the mix at some point.
Sounds like not bad news to me.

Great Gambit news all round it seems! I just can't praise Carey enough for his quality of writing and loyalty to the fans in not glazing over the messes of previous writers.
I look forward to how he will handle the Rogue situation!

No I don't think there will be any of that, at least outside of the zoo.
As to the why, we are looking to emigrate out there and decided that since I am earning this year we should take a holiday out there to see if we really like it enough to live there permanently.

I love Canada! Toronto was great when we went. It was cold and snowy but seeing how they got that big stretch of underground shops it makes it all ok! And man you gotta get some pick-a-mix! They had the best stall there ever! (yummy choccie clusters! mmmmm)
And FOODCOURTS! I know the Americans here will think 'so? Big deal!' but we don't have them here *pout* and I just LOVE how you can choose anything from 'New York fries' to 'Japenese sushi' in the same section!
Actually...thinking back...I think me and hub put on a stone in weight cos food is just everywhere and so yummy!
Oh...and Kaz? You shouldn't worry about the flight. There's two pieces of info you should tell yourself.
1) They do this everyday so whats the chances of your flight going wrong?
2) If it did go wrong there ain't jack you can do about it so you might as well not worry about it!
I love flying actually. Everything looks like a wee model of lil fake trees and things when your taking off or landing! And when you're above the clouds it looks like mountains covered in snow!
Oooh bet you can't wait now!
