I'd like to see Gambit end up in X-Men regular, especially while Carey is writing it. I really like Carey's style, the way he writes and the consideration that he pays the characters that he's using, regardless of who they are.
I'd also like to see him in Ultimate, as that is a seperate universe and the more Gambit the better _________________ And I sit, endlessly watching the people as they walk below me, knowing that I will never walk among them, knowing I will never live as they have lived and loving them for it.

Lol....thats why I didn't put an 'all' option cos the more the better! And a Gambit solo series wouldn't go amiss either eh Stef?
But yeah...I'm not digging Uncanny all that much at the mo but it used to be a good spot for Gambit in the past.
I think I would like Gambit and Rogue to run on different teams for a while though...just to give them some breathing space. After Carey does his magic on getting Gambit back together of course! _________________ *

A solo series would be fantastic. It's about time that he get another solo outing, and that would be a great way to show him getting his head around the whole Death thing after his run in X-Men, if Carey or someone else don't take him on.
I'm not digging Uncanny at all. The whole 'space opera' thing just did not do it for me, it was far too stop start.
Saying that, it is good to see Storm back with the X-Men in the forthcoming issue.
And yeah, Rogue and Gambit on different teams would probably be a good thing, unless the person who is writing them is able to pull off the tension between them without shoving it in everybody's faces. _________________ And I sit, endlessly watching the people as they walk below me, knowing that I will never walk among them, knowing I will never live as they have lived and loving them for it.

Hmmm...see...I think they could be on different teams so that the tension is on max when they DO cross paths but its not there, as you say, in your face. I do love the whole tension-romance thing but they really need to break the on-off-on-off pattern of their relationship, at least for a while.
And I really can't see Rogue having him on her team anytime in the near future! _________________ *

I say put 'im in the master's hands. When I first heard Joss was doing Astonishing I was hoping so hard he would pick Gambit and use the Cajun as a slightly more serious Spike-style character. _________________ I am Loki Scar-Lip, Loki Skywalker, Loki Giant's Child, Loki Lie-Smith.

Isn't Joss leaving Astonishing though?
It would be cool if Joss did pick up Remy. Especially if he used his as a Spike-ish style character. I've always thought those two were interestingly matched. _________________ And I sit, endlessly watching the people as they walk below me, knowing that I will never walk among them, knowing I will never live as they have lived and loving them for it.

Well, new Uncanny is out today, lets see how Brubaker can handle a stable arc.
Edit:Well, just to let you know for now, the new team as of Uncanny 487 is as follows: Xavier, Nightcrawler, Warpath, Hephzibah, Storm, and Caliban (the Morlock).
Of course we are missing someone surprisingly: Darwin. I didnt expect Brubakers' pet to get cut from the new team, but he seems to be totally absent from the issue as well. Although, as predicted, it seems Warpath and Heph have something going on.
I also must say that I perfer Billy Tan over Salvador Larocca, mainly because I associate him with Peter Milligan and X-treme X-men. So its nothing against him.
As for the issue, it seems a lot more stable than the previous arc. Although it appears that the shit is about to hit the fan in Uncanny as well, Professor X has now found that Magneto is alive and possibly powered, and theres been a violent Morlock revolt as a group kidnaps Leech so they can stop Magneto from killing them when they find him. For they intend to tell Magneto that theres still a chance that Mutants can rule the world. Storms return feels kind of arbitrary, although she has good reason for staying at the mansion (she was the leader of the Morlocks after all), she had no reason to show up there.
Personally, it feels good to see the Prof back where he belongs, sitting at cerebra and dealing with ever O.N.E. agent that comes in and bitches about how the Mutants arent behaving with his calm and gentle demeanor
As for now, its time I made a topic about the shit going down in Avengers: The Initiative _________________ I always thought that Rogue and Gambit should adopt that Leech kid from X3.

(regular) X-Men only if Carey is writing it. Carey could quite possibly become one of the best X-writers ever if he keeps up with the great storytelling he's doin. _________________

I'm like the board's official minority.
Though I think I'd like to change my vote. I was reading one of my favorite titles yesterday, and a thought I had before reoccured to me. I want to see Remy join X-Factor. I think him and Guido would make for some great humor. Plus there's plenty of female personalities for him to mix it up with. Of course I'm not too certain any one comic book could withstand the combined awesomeness of both his and Madrox's trench coats.
Besides, the fact that X-Factor isn't even on your list makes me even more of a minority. _________________ I am Loki Scar-Lip, Loki Skywalker, Loki Giant's Child, Loki Lie-Smith.

Hmm, he might actually fare better outside of the core books, the characters there tend to be overbearing and the plots kept more strict, he could have more fun in X-factor. _________________ I always thought that Rogue and Gambit should adopt that Leech kid from X3.

Yeah, I can see him outside of the core books, it would give him a hell of a lot more freedom and he'd be away from the mansion, which would mean that he'd be away from Rogue and it'd give them the space they need to deal with things.
