I think mainly I was just brought up on the TAS Gambit, and then the comic Gambit, who to me are the real deal...Evo Gambit was just so different with the hair, the goatee, the accent that I couldn't take to him in the same way. He did do some really cool moves though, like charging the beads in New Orleans!

They lacked the same spark! I just loved how, in TAS, they flirted and were drawn to eachother whilst fighting it too! Thats true ROMY!

I liked EVO
Granted Gambit had weird hair...he was still amazing! He did some cool stuff and was still a smooth talkin' card throwin' Cajun! He rocked that show! All the episodes with him in it were the best ones! |

If I had a choice between EVO Gambit and NO Gambit you can bet your house I'd choose Evo! He IS Gambit after all, one way or another!

Ilike EVO Gambit so I would probably like it...It would be better than no Gambit... And EVO Gambit is still Gambit after all... Though I do agree with you guys about TAS Gambit being better....
Still I would almost rather see any Gambit than no Gambit as he deserves to be in the movies regardless of how badly they destroy him... |

i dont know. i mean i love love love him as the XTAS vs theEvo. I think they all are too young in the Evo. And if he was a kid he cant do the Gambit things.

He wasn't a kid...he used his powers, spoke french, had southern roots, fought with his staff as well as martial arts, threw cards, maintained some of his thieving ways although had left the Thieves Guild behind and still charmed Rogue in an episode or two...
He was still Gambit...not quite the overly flirtatious kickass TAS Gambit that we know and love but Gambit nonetheless... |
