I think they get scared of trying something new (hence so many darn remakes in film!) and greedy for doing what they KNOW will bring in the money rather than take any risks!

While marvel has made some terrible mistakes with movies, I feel like their getting a bit better aside from X3.
i can't f***ing wait to see Ed Norton play "The Hulk" and I don't even f***ing like the Hulk!
Why could'nt we get Ed for the X-men?! Ahhhhhhh... |

I love the thought of Gambit finally in an X-Men movie. When I saw X2 when Mystique was looking up Remy on the computer I was like so happy but why put him in this movie? What could he have to do with Wolverine's orgins? If any could clue me in that would be great but my thoughts are maybe Gambit will have a battle with Sabertooth? |

Yea I'm a Romy fan too but I want to see Mr.Sinister star in an X-Men movie maybe even in this Wolverine movie even though he has nothing to do with his origin. |

They can't put Rogue in it cos they'd have to use the Rogue that the X-films created and sadly she doesn't cut the mustard! If they wait a few years they could bring her back with the fiesty personality we love though!
As for Gambit and Wolverine....they have always gone well together both as comrades and....not enemies.....more rivals (as in early TAS). They've also shared a comic (here in UK) and featured together in Wolverine and Gambit: Victims (one shot tpb where Wolverine thinks he has been murdering women Jack the Ripper style and calls on Gambit to help him solve the mystery).
How well they get on, if they're even on the same side, is still unknown in the upcoming movie! I really hope it goes well for the Cajun cos good coverage = money and money = Marvel and producers wanting to pump out more Cajun related stuff!
