Ugh, twinkies are overrated!  And I LOVE cold & wet!!  The US is too big & jumbled; most of us don't even know what culture is.

Oh yeah, I wouldn't be writing about Gambit if I didn't love him (& the X-Men)! Very Happy

Oh, I like these questions! Sorry if I ramble, though!
I like Rogue, of course, and Jean-I always wanted her power. I love Wolverine's personality. Archangel. Nightcrawler is fun, too.
A little before X2 came out, my best friend watched X-Men to catch up and she started talking about how good it was, so we planned to go to X2 on opening day and I happened to remember that my brother had a bunch of X-Men action figures from when he was younger, and I knew a little about them because I had watched the Animated Series. And I remember that I always had a crush on the Gambit action figure, even before i knew who the character really was! Anyway, we started watching the cartoons & learned more about X-Men. Though we were too old to be playing with action figures, started creating our own X-Universe. It was pretty messed up, but it was a blast! Before long our storylines revolved around Gambit & Rogue, and they have remained my favorite couple. Very Happy

Awwww that is soooo cute! How fab that Gambit's charms worked on you even without hearing his yummy voice and that! WOW!

Its like a few members here became Gambit fans just from playing the video games! I love how he shines through so easily to capture peoples attention!

I suppose Wolvie is a bit like that. SO cool and strong a personality that its ok to like him no matter your age *thinking of Wolvie tats I've seen on 'oldish' biker guys!*

That is interesting that people become fans though so many media he shows up in!
I've never seen a Wolvie tattoo on anybody! I would be so excited if I did, I'd probably creep the person out!

I know!

I would be so crazy if I saw anybody with a Gambit tat, t-shirt or anything like that! When I was working (in a store before I had my babs) there were these guys walking around in long 'trench' coats with gloves! LOL.....I SO wanted to ask if they were Gambit fans but chickened out. imagine if they didn't have a clue what I was on about? LOL...wish I had though!

I think a lot of people (myself included Smile) became fans of Gambit as well as the rest of the x-men from XTAS...

But he definitely is an appealing character and it is really cool how even people who have just glimpsed a bit of him have a lasting impression of him...

And Crimmy yeah it definitely would have been weird (and funny!) if you had gone up t those guys and said "Hey are you Gambit fans?" and then they just stare blankly at you...LOL Very Happy Mr. Green Very Happy
