These won't be too strict, but I would ask you to stick to them. The Council (Moderators) will be monitoring the posts, and you will be warned and if you persist you will be banned.
1) Try to keep things mostly on topic:
I understand that threads wander, but in the on topic threads please try to steer them back. The Meeting Hall is the place for all your off topic fun.
2) Respect other users:
Flaming, threats and general nastyness is not permitted on this board. You will be warned, and if you continue to go against this rule you will be banned.
3) Respect copyright:
Gambit is not ours, no matter how much we would like him to be. He does belong to Marvel, and because of this please post a disclaimer with all fiction and images stating so.
Also, if people do post their personal work, be it images or fiction, please respect that it is theirs, no matter the subject.
4)The Gambit News Section
The Gambit News Section is locked, so only I can post, because this is for confimed Gambit News only. If you have some news PM me, and if I can verify it I will post it into this section. Otherwise please use the rumours section.
5) Picture Posting:
For posting pictures please post from an external image site, like photo bucket, and link from there. There are guidelines in the help section to tell you how to do this.
6) Language:
Please watch your language. The occasional fuck is alright, but if it is every other word you will be moderated. Just be sensible with this, use what you would use in reasonably polite conversation.
7) Post Length and Spamming:
Please do not make one word (or emoticon) posts or double post. I know that sometimes double posting happens by accident, but if it is continuous you will be warned and finally banned.
Also one word posts, unless in the Word Association Thread, are annoying and mostly pointless. Again, it is all a matter of being sensible.
That is all I can think of for now, but there may be updates at a later stage. If you have any recommedations for this rule list then PM me and I will consider them.
If we all play by these rules we will all have fun, and this is supposed to be fun.

Yay thanks Stef! This all looks great!
What about language? I know it seems to be obvious but I know its been asked before and of course if new people come maybe it should be clear whether mild language (like cow and ass) is ok or whether its ok if *** are added? Or none at all???
Also (no offense to anyone) but I know that too many pointless posts like 'eh' (sorry CR but its true) that add nothing to the topic have irritated some posters.....*shrug* |

I use eh in conversations when I make to make the point of indifferance but ill try to tone it down

You can still use eh, but try not to have that as the only word in your post.
Even if you leave a few lines between the eh and everything else in the post, to make your point.

Yeah thats cool CR...I use 'eh' in conversation myself so ofcourse you can use it when thats what you feel appropiate in answer....*hugs* just not every post regardless!
