i really think Mystique cant changed into a non living item and i dont think she ccan change into something that is majorally larger or smaller than her....example she cant change into a mailbox or a gaint but she could change into a winged mutant or something about the same mass weight...like int he second termator he could change.
I only saw one mutant change into a item which was one of the morlocks.
