Hmm.....well I don't really know Wraith enough to care who plays him and I like Deadpool but again I will be happy with whoever as, I guess, its only really my beloved Gambit and X-Men characters whom I want a level of portrayal to be 'right'.
I guess we will have to see what and how they do in their characters eh?
I'm just too happy Gambit is coming to the big screen at last!!!! |
I agree...I don't care about Wraith either, I'd probably be okay with just about anyone playing Deadpool but I do think that Ryan Reynolds is a really great choice for the role
As for Sabretooth, I think that Liev Shrieber will do fine - he has some evil angles, is intelligent, and the rest can be makeup/special effects assissted...
A live-action Gambit is obviously the most intrigued about! Gambit in a movie finally! Yay! |

Remember that guy who played beast? y'know, the guy from fraiser? In normal life he sure didn't fit that role. Liev'll be plenty Sabertoothish, he just needs to act the part correctly. _________________ He doesn't do this often, become a fighting machine. He's a fun loving scoundrel by nature. To become a whisper and the roar of thunder – a shadow and a bolt of lightning – not only exhausts him...it tends to bore him as well. |

No, it's different with Liev. Kelsey Grammar actually did fit beast, I thought. He's a bigger guy and had a wide face....Liev is too small and isn't wild looking at all. I suppose it'll be all right if they smother him in prosthetics & makeup. |

I agree. I always thought he would be a good beast.
I mean Beast needs to be smart, cutting, clever, and fit...I felt it was a wise choice with Kelsey.
**************************edit*****************************
People I think would have been good...side note they are all in their twenties-ish ages for this.
Cyclops=Van Kramer
Iceman= Adam Baldwin
Angel= Alan Tudyk
Beast= Kelsey Grammar
Wolverine= Hugh (I think that was a great choice)
Storm= Angela Bassett
Colossus= Daniel Cudmore
Shadowcat= Ellen Page
Rogue= IDK…I really cant see any one being her….but I really really don’t like the GIRL!! Who played her in the movie (I am still mad they made her into a teenager in the movie)
Cannonball= Simon Baker
Emma Frost= Ivana Milicevic but blonde
Pr. X= Patrick Steward
*************************edit**************************
Okay I think Rebecca Gayheart would play a better rogue...I mean look at her. She's gorgous and she has the hair...come on people

Thats a very good Roguey pic GG!
I agree with you concerning the movie-Rogue, although I didn't mind her youth and I think she 'grew into it' better by the third movie (looks wise) but the fault is in the way she was cast/portrayed. She should have been much more fiesty and strong-willed. Her character never even developed in X2 and X3. _________________ *

Oy, movie Rogue frustrates me, shes fragile and submissive, and it just does not suit her. It got the worst in X3 where she decides that rather than mastering the abilities she was born with, shes going to take the easy way out for a guy who cheats on her.
Good stuff.
The list is pretty good, I like Alan Tudyk as Angel. But Adam Baldwin as Iceman?
For those of you who dont know what Adam Baldwin looks like:
The guy looks and plays the polar opposite of Iceman, hes a toughguy. _________________ I always thought that Rogue and Gambit should adopt that Leech kid from X3.

TELL ME ABOUT IT!!!
Sorry for the shouting. That movie is one of the few things that I'm very opinionated about. |

Hmm, I can see something Iceman-ish in his face (with the beard shaved off of course!) but he doesn't have the youth or physical dimensions chest and abdoman-wise. He looks too burly. _________________ *
