Check out www.empireonline.com
You'll notice that Gambit is on the front page. If they've updated it by the time you check it out, visit http://www.empireonline.com/empireblog/
and look for the 'Holding out for a (lesser-known) hero' article in the recent posts section.
At least Empire Magazine is with us on this one. _________________ Something wicked this way comes. |

Dude. That's cool. Consider this front-paged.
Also, it's nice to see some Gambit love in the comments for once. And they mention my fave merc with a mouth. Deadpool for the win! _________________ And I sit, endlessly watching the people as they walk below me, knowing that I will never walk among them, knowing I will never live as they have lived and loving them for it.
Bang mon ami, you dead!

I know they were talking about a Deadpool movie a while ago, but I think that everything kinda ground to a halt on that. I'd love to see him brought to the big screen. _________________ And I sit, endlessly watching the people as they walk below me, knowing that I will never walk among them, knowing I will never live as they have lived and loving them for it.

Front-paged. Sweet!
I was a bit annoyed that they mentioned Gambit as a lesser-known hero but then I thought that a lot of the folk who read Empire are movie buffs, not comic fans. So I suppose that they'll only know the over exposed guys like Spidey and Wolverine. _________________ Something wicked this way comes. |

Pretty much. It seems like they underestimated a bit, since a lot of the comments seem to like, support and know Gambit. Which is fab. _________________ And I sit, endlessly watching the people as they walk below me, knowing that I will never walk among them, knowing I will never live as they have lived and loving them for it.

Yeah, I can see that in a movie and gaming context he is indeed lesser known! Or lesser considered should I say. His connections to the X-Men make him less likely than the stand-alone characters like Deadpool, Punisher, Hulk, etc.
Still, if Marvel (and Fox or whoever) wanted to throw something out there that is more of a surprise than re-hashing old heroes (like the last Superman movie was LAME) then Gambit could appeal to a broader range of movie goers than one would think, fan or not! _________________ *

That is so cool!
Though I realize why they have stuck to more highly known characters, Marvel should realize that some of it's lesser known characters are profitable too...
Especially Gambit |

LOL
I shouldn't laugh at that...FOX would actually do it!
They'll be like "While we are already doing young Magneto...Another villain who we feel was underutilized in the x-men franchise and has a superbly interesting story was Toad...Therefore today we are proud to announce that we are putting into production "X-Villain Origins: Toad" |

I know it's a terrible thing to say...but GG started it! *points to GG*
I would probably laugh hysterically if they did do that though...clearly that movie would bomb and then we could laugh some more at their stupidity! |

No they'll never be too afraid to make a stupid decision, but Gambit would be a smart decision that's why it won't get made! *narrows eyes at FOX*
