****

Ladies and Gentleman... The mother of all Gambit retcons has arrived, and its coming in June. What did Xavier know about Gambit joining the Marauders? WTH did Shaw and Rogue have to do with it?

Prepare yourself, for once again, we delve into the darkest chapter of Gambit's life. Hopefully its entertaining and true to character (and I mean character at the time {17-20 year old Gambit}, not character today).

I have faith in Mike Carey.

I have faith in Mike Carey.

I have faith in Mike Carey.

Yeah, I'm trying really hard not to get too excited over this so I don't get disappointed. It's going to be a long wait.

Is it me or from that pic it looks like Sinister is controlling Gambit like a puppet?

Nope, it's not just you.

This should be interesting. I just hope Carey pulls it off well.

That ties in with Gambit telling Mystique he's 'free at last' from Sinny (as you just informed me from New X-Men! Ta for that!) Sooo...if Sinny ISN't really taken out then Gambit is still under his control?

Unless he has a clone, Mr. Sinister is gone. The strain killed him, Rouge still had the death touch at that point.

Legacy is not a present storyline, its the rebuilding of Xavier's mind after the events of X-Men 207. They're using other peoples memories of events Xavier was in to rebuild Xavier's own recollection.

This is going to take us back to when Remy's powers were out of control, why he went to Sinister, what Shaw and rogue and Xavier had to do with it, and possibly all the way up to the Massacre once again.

Then isn't the rebuild of his mind limited to what Xavier knew of said-events and not actually reliable as truth?

Also.....could the babies touch have had the power to not only clean Rogues mind of the absorbed personalities but release them back to said people? Therefore restoring Sinnister? And a whole lotta other people that Rogue has killed with her touch?

A stretch I know...but just speculating!
