I know this is hardly the site to post this kind of stuff, but I thought I'd show the forum what I have been working on the past month or so.
This is my 1st official custom. I've done simple mods and touch ups on figures before, but nothing on this scale.
I swiped the recipe from the action figure customizer Jin Saotome. When I saw his, I knew I had to have one like it. The recipe is exactly the same: Marvel Legends Union Jack body and hands, Nick Fury's coat and arms from the Nick Fury/Ultimate Cpt America 2 pack, Marvel Legends Gambit's boots and chest plate, DC Superheroes Superman Blue head modded to fit on the Union Jack neck post. Belt is a combo of Ave's Fixit sculpt and pieces of the Marvel Legends Gambit belt. The hair is Fixit sculpt on top of shaped wires.
It's a new look for a Marvel Legends Gambit but, I think you should change the trench coat. The trench coat, to me is too common, it looks nice but, I've seen Gambit recent toys where his coat can't be removed and looks and feels like rubber and plastic to where it can't move as much. I think his coat should be removable. The head and body is on point looking like Gambit in MVC. The staff and cards are EXCELLENT epsecially his staff it's not all bent up, weak and weird looking .
Despite everything else I think it looks cool.
I would buy it for collection if it was for sale .
