greetings, i just wanted to let you know, i was at six flags st. louis wednesday. got a cheap flight on southwest cle to stl and a cheap car rental at alamo. i used 1.2 gal gas to get to the park and back. i had one day so i needed to do a quick trip. admission was free (season pass) parking was $15.00. food was good, higher priced than it should be, but the soft pretzels are 2x the size of CF. the park was clean, and most of the staff were friendly and efficient. yes i did say friendly and efficient! it was my goal to ride tony hawks big spin and evel knievel coaster. evel is set to open friday the 20th. i thought it was already open, my bad. tony hawk coaster was great. all the coasters were staffed and running full. ninja was the only one i saw with a parked train. got to say, i saw the evel coaster, and have to go back to ride it. it looks great. while i was there the workers were doing landscaping, reassembly of the car ride, and installing trim brakes on the cooaster. it looked ready to ride. it looks like a twisted mess of wood. i think there will be some serious airtime on this compact twisted woodie! if you are in the st louis area, try to get to the park and check it out! dave
