Sounds like the Busch parks are safe for now, just as long as this hostile takeover doesn't pull-through. _________________

| I literally feel ill at the thought of them all being sold off, especially the Sea World parks. They (AB) have done alot for animal conservation and awareness since they took the parks over, and I shudder at the thought of them being sold to somebody who doesnt care as much. Guess I better take the kids to Sea World before they close for the season here in TX, or they may not get a chance to go next year. As we learned all too well with the GL situation, you just never know. Pretty soon there wont be a quality, family oriented, well kept park to take my kids to left anywhere but possibly Disney! |

Cedar Fair doesn't want them (at least not en masse), Six Flags can't take them, and I doubt PARC has the money, even if they did want them...
Reading the Williamsburg article, it looks like this will be as big if not bigger a blow to them as GL was to us. |

| Where did you see the Williamsburg article? I hope Disney or Universal buys them. I like the Busch parks and this makes me angry to hear they are selling the only theme parks and animal parks we have left in the USA. |

The first one linked above...

They're talking about the company picnics, etc. that are there, and how it's become a local landmark. It didn't say the park would be obliterated, but in the worst-case scenario, that area will react like we have. Luckily, InBev likely doesn't care if the park goes to another operator or to Norton, and if anything would prefer the former, so they have more hope than we did. |
