I love how the Comet is butt-up against trees so you feel like your flying through a forest. The Rollo Coaster at Idlewild is another great night woodie.
Waldameer really is a great park, I think the one true ride they are missing is some sort of Flying Swing... and maybe even a New Flying scooter.
Did anybody ride the train? That thing goes for miles. |

I rode it for the first time yesterday. I believe it's a CP Huntington from Chance. The cars are a little on the small side but have enough leg room. It is lengthy but it give you a good view of the water park and Ravine Flyer. Nice tunnel at the end. _________________ On September 21, 2007, a historic 119-year old amusement park had been secretly murdered. Never forget it. |

^Yeah, that tunnel was a treat! Im pretty sure it was a Chance train.. it sounded like a gasoline tractor.. must be!
Waldameer like to purchase Chance rides and a lot of "Domestic" rides. But they have a few imports in there. Michigans Adventure used to have all American rides, but then they started buying up some of the Zamperlas and now they have a great big Vekoma. |
