How do you know it's from the log flume? It doesn't say GL or anything on it and the seats are taken out of the boat. |

Well that is what my husband just said too, I don't know. How do you think he got it, where else could it be from? Or maybe it could be a spare log boat?? I may call him with interest in it tomorrow & try to get some info. from him. _________________ SCREWCREW 88/ Ride op 1988

There is a Euclid Beach rocket ride car in the background. One of the pictures has a logo on it and it looks like an older logo. _________________ Greed is what caused GL's demise and that just makes me sick. Lets do what we can to rat out Kinzel - hes a snake.

Yeah, that is a rocket ride car in the back, I kept looking at that & couldn't figure it out. WHO IS THAT?? I will call with genuine interest in it just to see what I can get out of him. How do you think he got it, stole it? _________________ SCREWCREW 88/ Ride op 1988

The last time I rode Pepsi Plunge last season, the cars didn't say GL. I thought maybe they were from the old CP Log Ride. They said something on them that had nothing to do with GL. I can't remember what was the logo, I had just never noticed before. |

That log doesnt look right to me....bet it is not even from GL and that is why the seats are gone- they looked too different from ther ones at GL so they removed them. And what is with the price? The WHOLE RIDE sold for $5000. |

I know that on auction day when the ride didn't sell, a group of us made a offer to buy the cars. They at first said ok, but then they said the ride would have to be sold for the whole ride and not for less than $2,000. he next day I called the auction house and CF to find out if there was any way to buy one car for my dad, they took my name and number and told me they would call me back. Later that day I recieved a call from CF telling me the ride has been sold. I thanked them. I also got a call from the auction house to tell me too. Ok the ride has been sold, but like everything else, it is a mystery to what the future is for the ride! Like I have said before.. the question is What is up with the hush hush? What is the real reason for the destruction of a park that was doing ok? |

Hey everyone. I was a little suspicious too when I looked at that craigslist add. However, after comparing to the pics I took from the auction day on the Pepsi Plunge platform, I was able to get angles that showed both the front and back of the ride. It appears to match this person's photo of the log. The side and writing on the front appear identical. So my guess is that its legit. "Logging CR Company" is what the writing on the front of the car says.

Well, what does that mean! Someone was able to buy 1 car from CF or did someone sneak in the park at night and steal it! Just wanted to know!
(Just seeing those pictures make me remember my first ride on them when I was 6 years old with my grandmother, which has now passed away) That was one of the last moment I remember having with her and now CF is taking it away, assholes!
Just lookin at it makes me want to fill it up with water and ride one last time! _________________ (ACFG)Anti-Cedar Fair Group |
