Everyone usually has a top ten list of their favorite coasters. How would you rank GL's coasters and you can include the Corkscrew (and Zyclon if you rode it if you'd like).
My list...
1. Dominator/Batman Knight Flight
2. Big Dipper
3. Steel Venom/Superman Ultimate Escape
4. Villain
5. Double Loop
6. Thunderhawk/Serial Thriller
7. Head Spin/Mind Eraser
8. X-Flight
9. Raging Wolf Bobs
10. Corkscrew
11. Beaver Land Mine Ride/Roadrunner Express _________________ On September 21, 2007, a historic 119-year old amusement park had been secretly murdered. Never forget it. |

hmmm....very interesting.
well i thought for a while, and here we are:
1.) Villan (such an innovative wooden coaster!)
2.) Dominator (greatest floorless ALIVE!)
3.) Steel Venom (such a powerful Intamin!)
4.) X-Flight (the wonders of flying coasters!)
5.) Big Dipper (although its not too close to the top, its still the greatest historic woody ever!)
6.) Thunderhawk (bumpy most times, but a nice SLC)
7.) Double Loop (a definite Classic)
8.) Headspin (not the greatest fan of boomerangs)
9.) Ragin Wolf Bobs (well, i loved it, just not my favourite, a little bumpy, and havent rode it since 2004)
10.) BLMR (only rode it once in 2000 when it first opened.)
Honestly, every single coaster at Geauga Lake was just simply amazing just because GL's coasters were like no other coasters in the world. They were innovative, had historic value to many of them, and were just different then other coasters. (even though there was a vekoma boomerang and SLC, they just seemed completley different then all the other clones. _________________ rewind...way before, to about 2004, and talk to Cedar fairs plans for geauga lake for the next couple of seasons and tell us what they say.. |

Zyclon was a small steel coaster (late 70's) that was located in the vicinity of where Turtle Beach would be later on. The Rotor was placed in the same location in 1981. _________________ On September 21, 2007, a historic 119-year old amusement park had been secretly murdered. Never forget it. |

9. Serial Thriller/Thunderhaw
10. Road Runner Express/Beaver Land Mine Ride _________________ "What we do in life, echoes in eternity."

I'd have a hard time with the top three... so...
1a) Big Dipper (made me fall in love with woodies)
1b) Zyclone (my first coaster ever)*
1c) Batman/Dominator (especially my last ride on her)
2. The Villian (with trick track)
3. The Villian (without trick track)
4. Raging Wolf Bobs (regardless of re-tracking)
5. Thunderhawk
6. Corkscrew
7. Double Loop
8. X-Flight
*Funny thing is, until coming here I could have sworn it was on "The Wild Mouse" and would have put money on that. I specifically remember my grandmother taking me on "The Wild Mouse" but since that would have been mid to late-70's I guess that's impossible. _________________ Positions Held:

I'd go with this:
1. Batman (dominator)
2. Serial Thriller (aka thunderhawk)
3. Villian (and front row only)
4. Big Dipper
5. Raging Wolf Bobs
6. Double Loop
7. Corkscrew
8. X-flight
9. SUE (Steel Venom)
10. Head Sping (mind eraser)
11. BLMR (aka Roadrunner) _________________ Geauga Lake I will miss you! |

Looking at the '75/'76 photos and the old maps, it looks like Zyclon was where the Corkscrew would go later, and the Little Dipper was over where the Rotor went. |
