Pretty sure I gave this guy my number to call me right as I was leaving the park on Tuesday. So far he hasnt. Said he was going to set up a bunch in the parking lot on Wednesday to sell them. I'm guessing that Ebay is why I havent been called yet.

FFejie, just curious, how high do you thing you'll go? I see he has about 100 left. I guess $60 isnt too high for a memory, but I dont want to bid and drive the price up if I can just wait til you win and bid on the next one. I'm not buying it now for $150. Also talked to the owner of the other lot of trash cans and he said to call him next week. But he paid a lot more so i'm worried his price will be high.

Somewhat off-topic but does anyone know who won the benches that were in the private pavilion area (sold as lots of 10).  I'd be very interested in buying one of those or the all-steel ones that dotted The 50's midway and Front Gate fountain.

Any ideas?

No i dont but if you find out please PM me because I looked and asked all over for the guy or girl who won those. I wanted the ones by the Beachcombers but got outbid and these were the same benches. I was too busy looking in the walk in beer cooler and didnt know they were already bidding on the benches! Let me know!

hey folks i got some decent news for you.  i contacted the guy with the cans and offered him 75 dollars for one and he took it. i went today to pick it up ( he is very close to the park so it gave me an excuse to drive by) well anyway i got him to agree to sell them to people on geaugalake today the same deal. so if you e-mail him through his e-bay listing and tell you you are from  geaugalake today forums he will sell you one for 75 dollars.( i think that is a very fair price) he is a really great guy just give him an e-mail. if you have any questions you can always ask me

Sadly.. him offering that to anyone violates eBay's TOS..

But hey.. if you're willing to spend $75 for a trash can with a sticker on it.. so be it..
