I did a real quick crive by today and what I saw wasnt pretty.

In this picture its obvious that DL's loops are gone:

Here is what is left of Shark Attack:

Villain station - work is being done inside station.
I assume things are being cut up as I see the air looks to be thick with smoke or debris:

Debris behind old wave pump house:

Thanks for the sad pics. I know that they must be in a hurry to destroy any chance of saving or even capturing the deconstruction. I hate this game! I feel so mad right now I could spit nails! I am suppose to be up that way Friday, but who knows what will be left by the! The Villian will be gone within hours!!!!!!!

It didn't take long for the park to look "bad" before the auction to looking horrid during demo.

Geez, makes me sick.

You know, I took the exact same picture on auction day for exactly the same reason.  Thought it would make a perfect addition to my scrapbook.

Please accept our apologies."

^ I do remember CF claiming they were in it for the long haul. I just didn't realize when they say long haul they mean operating the park for four years and then closing it down forever.

RideOps90's that sign is what CF really is about and stands for. That should be shown on the 10 o Clock News. That sign is funny, true and sad!

I don't think you got what they said when they said "long haul". Long haul to me now means either shipping it somewhere else or shipping it in peices for scrap. You know its funny when you get accepted for a credit card most of them will say "We are happy to have your business and expect to have you in the "long haul" meaning you'll be in debt to them in the long haul. YOu should really re-examine everything cedar fair has said and think about it. Geauga Lake means nothing more then extra cash. Thats why we have our memories, something they can't take away.
