Since I'm right across the street from the park I'll try to keep you posted on what I see. Work doesn't have me on the road much anymore so updates have been kinda hard to get. But yesterday I took a spin around Depot rd. A semi had the DL cars loaded on a flat bed, another had what looked like Head spin cars just sitting on a Flat bed trailer. They removed all the rocks from around Grizzly Run and are starting to work on it. Two men came into our store for Hydraulic Oil. He said they bought a few of the kiddie rides for a park on the Eastern Side of PA. He was kinda of a Asshole. But then again he did look inbread. hehe He wouldnt say what park, his only reply was "it's a big one" Nor would he say which rides. So I guess i'll just say 2 of the kiddie rides are gone. I got another Camera (Wife's Digital is a piece) for more shots if I can get them. I'll try to keep everyone posted. _________________ Remember......Fan Boys and Haters are always good for one thing. There were reports that Knoebels in Elysburg, eastern Pennsylvania got the June Bug Jump (as well as the Dog Pound game that took the place of the old Shooting Gallery near Americana). Despite that guy's surliness, it is a great park and operation.
The destination of Tea Party is unknown, it was not in the auction. Maybe they bought that too.
The only other kiddie ride I am aware of on the property is Starcastle Voyage, Schlitterbahn reportedly got that along with most of the other flats, possibly all for the new Schlitterbahn Vacation Village in Kansas City. _________________ "It's a very special ride. We want to make sure it has a proper home." CF Spokesperson Robin Innes about the Big Dipper.

Today there were some"Suits" meeting with Park big wigs. (I assume they were big wigs they wore nice office style clothes) They were walking around the Ballroom taking measurements and looking around the building inside and out. They stayed for about a hour. I'll keep you posted if I see more. _________________ Remember......Fan Boys and Haters are always good for one thing. A one sided argument. Which are you? |

Speaking of ACE click the link below for their official press release regarding the auction incident.

Well I guess CF was just caught in another lie. One that they cant back out of since it was recorded for everyone to see for eternity. _________________ Greed is what caused GL's demise and that just makes me sick. Lets do what we can to rat out Kinzel - hes a snake.

Wait... you mean CF and Dickie-boy lie? No... that can't be true. My world is shattered!!!
At least we finally get a statement from ACE about what all the drama was about.
They gave them 2-days notice? Really? That's as bad as what they did to the rest of us.
Seriously, the more I learn about how CF handled the closure the more and more pissed I get.
I wish I could win the lottery just to buy enough stake in CF (FUN) to have a real vote and spend the rest of my life trying to get that Dick fired. _________________ Positions Held:

| Good for Carole! I am glad she shouted back and more or less told them off!!! We all know ACE wanted to get BD, again it's CF/Kinzel greed that prevented that |

I am slightly encouraged by this part of that article however:
"Cedar Fair does not have to accept the bid, and contacted President Mark Cole shortly after the auction. ACE and Cedar Fair are still looking at other possibilities."
Still looking at possibilites is certainly better than CF refusing to work with them at all. I have no idea when that article was posted though. |

As I type this and look out the window across the street, the Water slides on rt 43 are being removed. _________________ Remember......Fan Boys and Haters are always good for one thing. A one sided argument. Which are you? |

Not that I am happy that the park is closed or that rides are being removed but I think you can all agree with me when I say its about time those slides have been removed they have been standing there SBNO for 3 years now. |

I agree its time for the to move. But you must understand the reason they have been SBNO is because CF knew exactly what was going on and didn't want to spend the money to relocate or tear them down. Let the buyer pay for it I am sure is what they thought. _________________ Greed is what caused GL's demise and that just makes me sick. Lets do what we can to rat out Kinzel - hes a snake.
