ZERO i took lunch which we ate at the car, and we either left at dinner time or went out for dinner at a local restaurant and then went back. i took bottled water with kool aid singles to drink. anyhow ill do a full trip report later, im beat, i just wanted to let everybody know that magnum was running only 3 of 5 cars per train today, gemini was as well, and for that matter so was dragster (after being down for 2 hours)  wildcat went down again at lunch time. and mean streak was down. so much for being the roller coast. _________________

The Gemini blue car went down, The Dragster was down quite a bit. I still have yet to ride the Maverick! When it is running the wait is two hours! Not worth the time to waste not with the price of gas .

Good job, Chadta!  It may not seem like anything much, but let me tell you, when people are not spending money inside the park, Cedar Fair HURTS! Ummm...and maybe their maintenance crew had the day off for 4th of July?  LOL....

From the moment I dropped the tenner to park I felt like a scumbag =/ All I could think about the whole time I was there was GL and how I would have much rather been there. We also brought food so we kept the spending to the bare minimum. I can say this though, that place IS going downhill. I have a couple of issues I wanted to get out there and see if those of you that have been there this year noticed them too. First it seems like on every ride I could not understand a damn thing that was being said over the PA. Either the sound was horrible or the op's were talking so fast you could not make out a thing. Also, I noticed on the smaller rides like the Corkscrew and ID the op's were atually making fun of the rides. Saying things like (on Corkscrew) "we will drop you from an amazing 48 feet (or however high it is) at a blazing 45mph" (again, not sure on the speed but you get the picture). I dunno, that to me was poor and not something I would condone. A couple of the rides looked bad, especially MF. They have a person inside Disaster Transport selling 3D glasses and some other crap. The fiancee floated the 2 bills for 2 pair of them even though I protested heavily! I asked what in the world was 3D and was told there were 3D things in the queue and also 3D "ELEMENTS" on the ride......Needless to say I saw NO 3D elements on the ride..... I was livid. What a way to rip people off CF, nice one. Besides I swear I remember actually seeing and hearing things in the ride and now there was nothing but darkness. Horrible ride anymore. (just my opinion) One more even though I could go on and on. I love woodies, even MS so I always ride it when I am there. I dont know what in the world is going on with this thing but that first drop was SO slow I didnt think we were going to make it around the turn around, it wasnt even that rough because it was running SO slow! Poor, poor poor. Wait times were OK, waited longest for Maverick, bout 1.5 hours. 45 mins for MF and the rest were walk on or 5, 10 mins. My oldest son and his frend had fun, they had never been there and my son had never been on a coaster. I told him I had an all new respect for him for the 2nd coaster he had ever been on was MF! Was good to see the kids and the fiancee having fun but on the inside I was toiling...... Rant over, thanks for your support!
