| I was reading on PKICENTRAL.com that Star Trek The Adeventure will close Sept. 1, 2008. The lease wasn't renewed by CF. The attraction has only been open 11 years. Is this the end or will CBS continue to run it in the future? |

Here's some further info, CBS would like to keep it going and owns most of the stuff, so maybe it will reopen in some form in the future. A CBS spokesperson said "We're currently exploring several options to continue The Experience for the public to enjoy for years to come."

As a result of the Viacom/Paramount/CBS restructuring, CBS has the rights to the Star Trek TV dvds. So CBS had an interest in people having advance notice of the closing. Angry Star Trek fans are not good for dvd sales. _________________ "It's a very special ride. We want to make sure it has a proper home." CF Spokesperson Robin Innes about the Big Dipper.
Ohio and North America have few structures that rank as high as 12th oldest in the World. Remember the Big Dipper. |
