| Wow I thought it was dumb for them not to combine Snoopy and the Nick characters at Cedar Point. This is really dumb for them to drop, just like dropping the movie license for this year. |
while i agree about the nick part, i dont really mind the movie stuff being dropped, i mean its not like the were themed all that well anyhow, so whats really in a name. _________________ |

I think they are stupid for dropping Paramount name and Nickelodeon license. Do they still have the Dora show and Sponge Bob Show this year? Have they changed any of the ride names in the kids areas? I think they should leave things the way they are. I want Paramount back. I don't like the changes they are making to the parks. |

Back to the Paramount licenses, does anyone know how they rethemed Tomb Raider at Kings Island? I heard they tore out all the Tomb Raider props (basically all the statues or 50% of the theming) and replaced them with some old cheap rubber halloween props (skeletons, spiders, goblins). Did they just completely eliminate the sliding rock door and preshow movie?
I heard the theming sucks now and the whole park is really bland/generic. I don't see eliminating the Nick characters helping that situation at all. _________________

Yay bringing up an old topic! Kings Island has changed the name of the kids halloween event, it was called Nick or Treat but now its called Hallowfest. seems to me they are phasing nick out. _________________ Confidentiality is telling one person at a time.

Actually,I think KI is more better without Paramount. They have better landscaping, more shows(which paramount is a movie company so why no shows?),The Crypt isnt that bad.At least its still indoors! It doesnt matter about themeing, just how the ride is,which its much better this year. |

Snoopy is the worst character to have as your mascot. He doesn't even have a tv show. Getting rid of nick is the stupidest idea ever. Now if they are getting rid of nick for something like cartoon netwoork or thomas the tank engine I could understand but this just makes no sense. I really hope they don't do what they did with geauga lake's have assed play zone. That place looked like themeing was ripped off and then the ride was ready to go. _________________ -Kevin |
