I went to Geauga lake today and rode the Big Dipper, RWB, and double Loop, in that order! Food was excellent as I always remembered it! Played some games on the midway and even rode the Matterhorn and Muzik Express.(Oh wait, I'm sorry! Must have been dreaming again of the 80's Era at Geauga Lake)
Almost forgot that Kenzil ruined are Lives,Sorry!Still, never forget your days and times spent there, as thats all we will have left, once they start Deconstruction on Double Loop and Villian this week! _________________ (ACFG)Anti-Cedar Fair Group |

Not to hijack a thread but I sort of wonder how many of us have had similar dreams since last September.
I know I've been having a hell of a time on the Stingray Slides, the Sky-Glide, Corkscrew... even spit on someone from the Monorail.
The best was remembering the girl I chased for an entire season... I don't remember her name (and didn't in the dream either) but she was just as hot as she was back then.
Honestly... the last year I've had some of the best Geauga Lake memories... it's almost getting to a point where I'm having a hard time seperating real memories from the dreams. _________________ Positions Held:

I had a really good dream....that somebody bought GL (as is with current coasters that are there in it, DL, villian, rwb, bd, and head spin) with all the other rides and just build a better park then ever before with our new hyper...and it was awesome. Its too bad it was just a dream...it seemed so new and modern but yet the classic GL we all knew. _________________ Geauga Lake I will miss you! |

I kept hoping that the new land owners would pull a fast one on CF and keep the coasters standing, get some new flats, pull Muzik out of the shrubbery and clean it up...
But with Double Loop and Villain off to the scrap heap and we still don't know what's going to happen to the land, I've given up on that. I still think someone re-opening Chippewa, Playland, Springfield Lake, any of the old parks in this area, would be a great business decision right now, but no bank would ever finance that. |
