My brother just came into my office asking if I watched Channel 8's news this morning.
He said there was a story on about the Double Loop being taken out and "How Cedar Fair screwed over Northeast Ohio".
Anyone see this? Was it as scathing as he makes it out to be? I checked on their website, but I can't find anything newer than the auction footage... |

I didn't get to see anything either, but I sent a e-mail to WJW to see If I could get anything out of them... see if people are still pissed or If i could get them to investigate the truth behind GL...but as of yet nothing....

It makes you wonder... I mean this whole thing has been so hush hush. It is funny how when ever the news brings up GL, there is nothing being really said about the future of the land, rides peoples' feelings. It is almost like CF has made the media keep their mouths shut. I know when I was at the auction, the media was there all day, but when you go to watch the news, you were lucky if they even mentioned about GL besides he auction day was that day and the Dipper was sold for $5,000. I still feel there is sooo much more to what really happened with GL besides a decision just to close it!!!!! |
