Not just that it would be the first for the entire region.  It could be marketed to as far as Buffalo if they wanted to go that far.

If it were moved here, i'd like to see it get a colorfull paint job and a uniqe name. "Iron Dragons Water Wagon" or "Spraying Mantis" will not cut it! Smile

Kalahari and CP's Castaway Bay have rides that are either belt-driven (Kalahari) or water-driven (CB) raft rides, with safety-netting surrounding the ride...NOT really a coaster.....
The ride at Carowinds has steel tubing for the frame, and a 4-person train per group...more of a coaster than what the indoor waterparks have.

One must wonder why Carowinds would remove it, though. I wonder if the ride has been problematic or if Cedar Fair had had trouble with Setpoint.

Remember the whole Knotts ordeal with Windjammer? Cedar Fair Took Togo to court! Not sure who won, though!

If that's the case, then what kind of condition is the ride in?

To think that maybe CF has other plans for FSS' site and in wanting to move it to another park they want Setpoint to refurb it but they declined?  I guess there's too much "what if's" in this scenario.

The only thing for sure is that by late May of 08 we will know. That is unless someone "ahem" leaks news before CF announced it. Smile

Well supposedly theres a rumor going around that Carowinds might be getting a new coaster so maybe the Super Saturator may take up valuable space for a new coaster...I haven't heard of any issues with the ride, so either the park doesn't want it anymore or they are taking it out to make room for a new coaster or new ride.

Yeah, we found out pretty late what the plans were going to be with GL for the 2007 season by the park. We knew what was going on before they told us though.

This kind of coaster is the most pointless and dumbest looking thing in the world.... of all the coasters that could be added, I hope it goes somewhere else and not at GL. I would hate to test ride that thing in the morning... having to get soaked before the park even opened...

But imagine the boast in attendence when Geauga Lake gets the regions first Water Coaster.
