Just in time for Halloween I have added a few photos from both Fright Fest and Haunt to the site.

Hope these bring back a lot of great times from these events. I'm still going through photos so there may be a few more added in the near future. _________________ On September 21, 2007, a historic 119-year old amusement park had been secretly murdered. Never forget it. |

Thanks for those pics Gunky! Fright Fest was really a well done event, much better than Hallow Weekends IMO. Every time I see those pics I imagine what we still could have had. _________________ GL's demise was caused by one mans foolish greed.

man the memories!!! What a great park we had!!! It was just home and hothing will ever replace it no matter how big and fast things become. everything in cedar fair is so fake, calculated, and cold but geauga lake was just so comfortable and warm even with the bloodied heads, aliens, body parts and gouls, it was OURS! |

wow, thos pics are awesome, never really been to any of the haloween events, suprisingly. Geauga Lake really had the great setup for haloween events though. Those coasters look spooky in the fog there. Its too bad its all been ruined. Thanks Gunky. _________________ Geauga Lake I will miss you! |

I still love Bugs face on the Spookytown sign.
Halloween events were something i really used to look forward to. But used to feel a little sad over, because it meant the end of the season.
Sea World did only one Halloween event that was pretty good too. Pumpkin carvings, magic shows, and the animal shows somewhat rethemed. I want to say they also did something in the ski stadium... but I dont remember if it was the lumberjack show or not. _________________ Rob G. - Sea World Ohio and Geauga Lake Fan.

I loved Geauga Lake's Halloween events. And my Halloween-buff dad always preferred both Fright Fest and The Haunt to Halloweekends. Kennywood's Phantom Fright Nights are great, but its not a substitute for an entire day at a park in October. |
