^ Simple. Some of the rides at Geauga Lake are overbuilt for the park.

Do we honestly need a 165 foot B&M with 3 trains when Double Loop is still a perfectly good ride?

Look what Kennywood builds, they keep their same numbers per year and every year give their guests a reason to come back... by replacing worn out rides with newer ones to market.

Now, some of you may argue that Holiday World didn't need a new huge wood coaster, but it is only one of four in a small park with thhe waterpark being the main draw.

Holiday World has no choice but to expand if their numbers keep increasing.

Wow john now you want to say we don't need Dominator. Personally I'd take HS over DL. I know for a lot of people here that ride means a lot to them and it might of been there first loop coaster. To tell me the park needs to strip all there caosters down to DL is stupid.

^ At first I felt that Headspin wasn't the neccessary ride left in the coaster line-up. That was WAY before all these rumors started. Look at the dates on my posts.

Now, if we are going to lose something, perhaps the best choice would be Dominator, and thats only because it may be the most logical and marketable attraction to move to a park with a higher annual attendance.

Im not the enemy.

seeing that it just got new trains this year and it cloases for partly cloudy with chance of drizzle i dought any other cf park would put up with it. seeing that i run the zephyr witch goes behind it i usually blow the horn to keep those guy awake during the downtime. but wver year thers a laser being removed rumor and it opens next sesion with an new type of part bought for it.  beleve me it get enough g's to keep you in with out the lap bar down. besides what would happed to the little laser across from it .also i relly dont know anything at management level beyond the stuff going arount the park from the wiki post. i even don't know where we can stuff any more rides.

P.S. Laser did not get new trains! Never listen to anything Jeff has to say he doesnt know what he is talking about.

As for the topic at hand Laser isnt that much of a popular ride. Theres always someone in line but thats only because of the in efficent nature of the ride. The lift is super slow and the ride is held down by water. I used to work at the laser and it smells like grease and it gives me a headache.

Didn't it get refurbished with a new lift last year?

The capacity is horrible like you said. Slow loading and the new seatbelts make the line move very slow. I hope it stays at the park for many more years

Laser isn't leaving the park yet. It's still on the web site as operating at it's right next to Voodoo. I did see it listed on Italintl and used rides as for sale but I hope it doesn't leave the park it's a cool ride.
