I have not been on this site for some time. The other day it took 12 minutes for the forum part to open, even longer for individual parts to open. Is the problem my computer ? Other portions of the site opened right away. What am I doing wrong ? Eventually I was able to leave a post about a picture, but it took a long time. |

The servers have being replaced and updated since early January. Apparently they ran into problems (imagine that), and it has only gotten worse since then. Today (Sunday) is the first day it has run rather reliably all day. I am hoping they have figured out the problems.

Supposedly all the server switching is done as of 1:00pm 2/11. So far it looks like it has fixed the speed issue, I hope the dead pages are a thing of the past.

It is still going REALLY slow for me loading a page every 4 or more mins  I really hope this gets fixed. I love this site but its slow for me still. Anyone else having this problem? Do you need a new site host?

Hopefully its up and running like this for good.
The company that took over had tripled the number of servers in one year and still could not get the speed required for the amount of forums they host. They finally replaced the SQL database server today and we hope that the site will run faster.
