Your resistance to facts amazes me, how you can dismiss blatant facts is beyond me. Although I have come to the realization you either work for CF or are hoping to work for them sometime in the future. Your ties with them are evident not only in the shares you own but the few people you know associated with CF. CF is a sinking ship, and I am sure you will defend it until the day you die. I am not at all confident about the direction and management of CF. They are a bunch of lying crooks. The amusement industry has changed and the direction at CF hasn’t and I know you see it.

I have succeeded in my ultimate goal, I have proven you really are worried about what I say and you do read these forums. I must really get under your skin for you to speak to me the way you do and delete my account for telling the truth. I totally understand now that it is your job to withhold all the lies that come out of Sandusky.

I have talked with many real industry experts and they all laugh when your name is mentioned. Your importance to the amusement industry is minuscule and your ego is only hyped up by the readers of your forum.

Wow, somebodies ticked off. Its unfortunate the amount of mud slinging going on between these two people. Jeff says hes right Coasterdad says hes right, no one wins here. I would say to the folks on this site that Jeff's opinion of anything means very little, how much praise can one give to a park that many people already love. There are many amusement park fan sites that garner the respect of the amusement industry, the buzz sites are not at the top of anyone list if that makes you guys feel better.

On the other hand the things going on here have garnered way more attention than anything hes ever done, although he might not agree. Although Jeff does get quoted in media, mostly becuase the local media thinks his sites are the end all of amusement park information plus they are easier to get in touch with than CF itself.

I would say to both just let it be. The future of Geauga Lake is much more important that a childish game of who can top this. I think we know who won already and so does he by his recent reaction.

What's really funny is Putz bad mouths anyone that has anything to do with any other site. I have seen the garbage he spews in emails and IM's. He calls other podcasts "Trash" when his is the most boring I have ever heard in the industry.

He calls other websites ridiculous and not on topic.

His website has huge followers good for him. Not everyone in this industry likes him either. I have been in fact told by many people associated with parks that they can't stand him. All they get is free PR from him. He does all the work!

Oh well, let him run his site to the ground and bi*** and moan all day long like he does. Eventually, people will get bored with it and move on.

I generally have issues with people on or off line that treat people the way putz does!! What is wrong with just being nice? that is the reason I like it on here. EVERYONE I have met from here are just plain good people with a common interest. All of us have different takes on different issues, but we take ti time to see where the others are coming from. Does anyone think that people from his site could even come close to doing what was done at the meeting? Thanks everyone!!

I tried to use a picture of Putz as an avatar on a now defunct message board, and Putz himself went to the site admin and had them remove it, since it wasn't a permissible photograph, supposedly.

Uh, Jeff, do you realize that once you post it online, I can use it however I wish?

The man is pathetic. The thread about the townhall meeting has turned into a praise the great putz thread. And isn't it him who would boot someone else for doing that? I wasn't going to do this but oh well, he says I called him names (boo hoo) in the PM I sent him regarding my link not going to the correct page. I eventually figured out that http;// needed to be in front of the link to work, and that's all he had to tell me the first time. Read away at how the great professional Putz turns a simple question into a major problem.

Check my link in my profile for my website, its gets redirected to a CB page that I cant change. If you didnt change it then I apologize, but someone did. The redirected link says:

Sadly, the page you're looking for is defunct. I know, it's a bummer. The page was bought by CoasterBuzz just to close it, because it was competition to CoasterBuzz. There was a last minute deal to try and sell the page to ACE, but they claim they don't know anything about it. There are petitions underway to save it, but we don't even know who the buyer is. Sadly, it'll be just another historic page, lost.

I really don't understand why people like jeff are so angry and rude to people. What is wrong with just being nice. I know sometimes I get pissed off and get a little sarcastic over there, but it is only when someone is rude or condesending to me or some other poster.I tend to go off on a rant and go overboard but Jeff is just plain rude to a lot of people. He puts down people for enjoying their amusement park. I just don't understand how you can like amusement parks and be so bitter with no sense of humor at all. I think it is great coasterdad the way you and gunkey run this site!!

At first, reading the whole thing, I thought that CD jumped the gun on being angry about the whole redirected website.

But after seeing their 404 page, it's completely understandable. It's funny in and of itself, but wow would I have been pissed too.

Some sites don't care if you add a link to your page (perhaps as long as you have a linkback) but it would show that thispagecannotbedisplayed would be a decent site to read and contribute to. No matter how much we can all question his ethics, imbalance towards CF, attitude, stuffiness or douchebaggery-ness, you can not question his talent with the comb over. I applaud you man!
