Some say that is early for lunch, but you beat the crowd, it will be after noon by the time we actually eat, and its not about the food anyway. As far as seeing the park, Speedway and Sirnas have great views. I would not recommend walking around but a drive around view as a passenger is good too.

Walk up and down the sidewalk across Route 43 from the park, that is the best view, or get someone to drive you around the back of the park (the road formerly known as Sea World Drive-Depot-Geauga Lake etc.) I understand, though, that if you post plans to walk around online in advance, arrangments can be made for a friendly Bainbridge cop to greet you back near the Carousel/Western Village. To date there seems to be no problem so long as people stick to the road. Again, not recommended.
