Sorry I could not make it this time. I hear there were quite a few people and a good time was had by all in attendance. It's great to see that the spirit of GL lives and as we all hope something good happens in the near future.

I had a great time Saturday!! I really think we could have stayed for hours and hours more!! It was great to meet new people like  Mr. Geauga bob, animejim and jjk718 as well as Elva from euclidbeach now and dsloban's father. What great people and stories!!  I find it so interesting that no matter your age good people with our same interests are great to hang out with!! It was so fun to just sit back and listen to the stories!!  I can't wait to do it again.

I had a good time, enjoyed meeting everyone. Sorry if I didn't talk much, I'm more of a listener then a talker. Looking forward to next time.

Thanks for bringing those old Sea World brochures, it was great to see what that side of the lake looked like back in the early '70s. The great thing about those get togethers is you can be as quiet or vocal as you want to be, all are welcome. (Nobody will believe this but most people I know think I am quiet.) Hope you had fun and that you can make it out next time as well.

It is neat that we had people who first went to Geauga Lake as long ago as the 1930s and the 1950s. Whatever happens to the property itself and the stuff on it, people are going to continue celebrating the great GL memories.

And there will be a whole lot of attention from all over when the Big Dipper situation finally plays out. Hopefully it is good news for the owner and Cedar Fair and everyone who enjoyed riding it in the past.

Maybe there will be an October Saturday that will work.

By the way, the Fun Bunch Panda was "Penny Panda" so that is why "Andy" Panda was wearing a pink bow in those old photos.

Also, the Kennywood Jack Rabbit was built in 1921, Chad V was right, 1919 was too early.

Hope to see you all at the next meet up, whenever that is, and at Euclid Beach on September 27!

The Euclid Beach one will be hard for me to do, but I will try.  I didnt know anything about it until I read about it here.

Yeah Jeff, I really wanted to come.  But I am sure it was still a great time without me.
