When we heard the news that Geuaga Lake was sold, my girlfriend , at the time thought we lost another good park. But, then we heard that some people from Cedar Point where the ones we were excited. They started right from the begining to improve the park by adding the monorail ride. It was up hill from there. A few other rides where purchase for the front parking lot. (In from of the BD) They said that they wanted to preserve the park by having special rides made for them and old time rides like Kenneywood. They wanted to preserve the park for future generations, My thinking is when they sold it to Premeire parks it would be preserve. They never thought Premeire would sell it again. They were a big amusement park company. I wish they would have sold to Bush. The talk on point buzz would be different now. I think this area could support two park. LONG LINVE GL |

The next quarter century plus sure was pretty special, I am glad Geauga Lake did not close in 1968. Sometimes transformations do work out. |

Thank you Skyglicer for what you said. That quarter century plus was pretty special. Something my children can talk about for many years to come. Hope I will see you at the August gathering |
