(Sandusky, OH) Due to the increasing amount of slanderous statements in online message forums such as Geauga Lake Today and others, Cedar Fair officials announced today that effective immediately, officials will be tracking the IP addresses of anyone they believe to be spreading lies and falsehoods that portray the company in anything other than a positive light.   “If we read a message in an online forum that we deem to be inappropriate or perhaps hurtful to the fine folks of the Cedar Fair family, we will take some very harsh actions” said Robin Innes, spokesperson for the park voted Best in the World.  “Not only will we contact their Internet Service Provider and have their internet access revoked permanently, our legal team will file charges of slander and libel against them.  There will be no warnings other than this and there will be NO Exceptions to this rule.”   The always popular “onPoint” blog also detailed that those who have their internet service revoked will also be checked for Cedar Fair season passes.  Anyone having their service revoked with a Cedar Fair season pass of any kind will have their passes voided immediately and will be banned entry to any of the Cedar Fair properties for a time period of 50 years.   Cedar Fair CEO Dick Kinzel added “I’m getting pretty darn sick of these people writing such mean-spirited things about me that are completely untrue.  It is hurting me, my family, and all of the great fans of the World’s Greatest Amusement Park.  Thanks to these new measures, we can be sure that our marketing and advertising teams get the truth out there to the people and that the lies be stopped once and for all.”   Cedar Fair is the world’s greatest amusement park operator and owns the world’s greatest amusement park, the world’s greatest roller coasters, uses the newest state-of-the-art equipment, offers reasonably priced and delicious food, and has the greatest, most intelligent CEO to have ever lived. _________________ http://rayp.smugmug.com
