Former Geauga Lake coaster is either starting to take prisoners, or perhaps this is just a case of a pre-existing medical condition.

Its probably the guy's fault and not the ride. No one died on it when it when it was X-Flight at the Lake. X-flight was my favorite ride. I have yet to ride it as Firehawk.

This is a very sad thing to have happened... perhaps it was a pre-existing condition... as many Millions of riders that this coaster has had, it has always operated safely.

X flight was such an amazing and unique ride experience.  that said, i'm a very small, healthy adult, and laying supine with the restraints firmly fastened before it started made *me* feel kinda tight and claustrophobic. (but in a kinky, good way, if ya know what i mean).  i can see how it could trigger physical stress for someone with cardiac issues, though, especially if they are larger or have a respiratory condition as well.  i mean, i can't tell you how many times i saw some BIG people trying to suck it in and make that harness fit.  it always became one of those awkward situations where you look over, realize what's going on, and then turn away, cuz you feel bad and you're embarassed for them as well.  and then for the occasional suck-it-in where you'd hear the congratulatory *click!* and they got to ride, i mean, come on...  there's gotta be some internal organ displacement going on for that to happen.
