Like I said before, this change may have gone way beyond something as simple as renewing the Nick license. With Snoopy, it's all about marketing and branding. Not only will the rides portray the Characters, but the interactive stores and shows will familiarize the kids as well. There will be a few tears here and there, but the transition should go pretty smooth. Don't underestimate kids, they know more than you think. And I'll say it again... 99% of the kids are there for the rides, no matter who is painted on the side of the cars.

Autograph sessions would spur the sales of official KidWorks Autograph Books and other licensed merchandise.  There’s so much the creative geniuses at Cedar Fair could do with this time-honored line of characters.  I mean honestly, kids today probably know more about the KidWorks Kids than they do the Peanuts characters.  Cedar Fair, you’re sitting on a gold mine. _________________ http://rayp.smugmug.com
