My older sister told me something that I'm not sure to believe, she said that in the early 80's for one season that they had a zipper ride there temporary and someone got hurt and they took it out never to be seen agian.
I just thought I would ask Coasterdad or gunkey if you guys know anything on this! _________________ (ACFG)Anti-Cedar Fair Group |

They never had a Zipper, but someone was hurt when they fell out of the Fly-O-Plane in 1983, which led to its removal. |

GL never had a Zipper that I am aware of. They did have a Fly-o-Plane that had the issue John stated and a Rock-o-Plane that might have had similar problems.
I am thinking she got a Zipper mishap from somewhere else confused with GL as the older Zipper models were prone to eject and seriously injure riders before they were repaired. _________________ GL's demise was caused by one mans foolish greed.
In the end the truth will come out as it always does. |

Eeek! I can't imagine the terror of having a Zipper car open up on you. |
