I checked the web-cam last night and was disappointed.  For a great attraction next year, they should be working day AND night to get this done.

I think Cedar Point is dropping the ball by not getting this thing built quickly.

Track for Shoot the Rapids has arrived to CP.

BTW, Tony over at Pointbuzz gave us some info on the wetness factor.

Re: Is Shoot the Rapids going to be the same as SRF?

While we don't know exactly what the conditions will be for "wetness," I can tell you that the goal is to have water features "splash" off of rocks and other objects, rather than "dump" right on to you.

The final splashdown, although it looks like water will be dumped into your boat, will likely get you sprinkled and refreshed. More wet than WWL, but not completely drenched (at least at this point).

Remember, animations are representations of an actual ride experience - not the actual ride experience.

I am excited about the new ride! It will make a nice addition to Cedarpoint!
