The way people are looking for cheap entertainment today, Geuaga Lake would have been really busy this year. To be CF know they where going to close the park from day one that they own it They first wanted to take the rides they wanted before hand. They did not advertise the park enough. Geauga Lake still in our hearts |

I totally agree. GL would have had great business this year as more folks focused on staying closer to home this year. I had consistently thought of the park on those very nice days we had the past few months. _________________ On September 21, 2007, a historic 119-year old amusement park had been secretly murdered. I know there has been several times I would have loved to be able to hit the rides at Geauga Lake for a few hours...I miss that! _________________ Life is like a rollercoaster. It is full of ups and downs! |

I haven't been to a park since the day of the auction at Geauga Lake.
My daughters girl scout troop is planning an outing for next spring. I'm pushing for Kennywood. It would be hands down Geauga Lake if it was possible. |

I really miss GL. There was no reason to close it. I would do anything to be able to go there again |

I would love to be back at the old Geauga Lake. What I see.. if ever.. is that if it gets developed it will be a resort type with flats... but it will never add up to what was there or the memories we all created there. _________________ Geauga Lake I will miss you! |

Great idea D56. I think some sort of mixed use family park/resort would be a perfect use for that land. Lets never give up the thought that GL can once again entertain families as it has for the past 120 years. _________________ GL's demise was caused by one mans foolish greed.
