This is going to be short and sweet; just like our trip to PFN seemed.

This was our only available day (schedule-wise) to go.  The website said they would be busy.  They weren't kidding.

Scads of people everywhere.  It wasn't a good experience...but not because it was so busy.  The deejays played horrible music (not everyone likes rap and "Soulja Boy"), the scarers over by the Kangaroo were not at all into it.  Most of them were talking to each other.  And where was the ugly fat midget clown?  My daughter was terrified of him last year.

I sent an email to let them know how my experience was.  I complained about smoking in the queue lines (everyone was doing it...makes me gag).  I griped about the shortened season.  (No more September PFN weekends.)  I also expressed my disappointment that they close their haunted houses before 1 am.  I stated that I wasn't looking for anything free (I knew they would offer free tix).  I am not accepting them.  I just wanted to let them know how my experience was.  From Toledo (4+ hour drive), it felt like a wasted trip.

The few rides we did get on were great.  I made sure to get on Phantom's Revenge...the wait wasn't bad time-wise, but the people smoking in line all around us was sickening.

Thunderbolt...awesome as usual.

Bayern Kurve...had to get on this one...the kids never rode it!

Pirate haunted house....awesome as usual.

Noah's Ark....awesome as usual.  But the deejay in line SUCKED.  Out of all the rap crap he played, he only played one good song...."Creep" by Radiohead.  What gives?!?!?

The rest of the time was spent waiting in line for DARK SHADOWS.  You mean to tell me they can't quote you a estimated wait time for that thing?  Puh-leeeeze!  By the time we realized how long the line really was, we already invested too much time and didn't want to step out!  But let's just say our legs were getting very weak....and the deejay once again, sucked!!!

We don't like rap!  I am a 41 year old woman.  House o' Pain I can handle (Jump Around!), Soulja Boy I can't!!!!!!  They need to mix it up just a little!!!!!!

I will return to Kennywood in the summer.  But as for PFN's, if they don't bring back the September weekends for that, I probably won't return for those.   Sad
