Well, it was a free day, so what the hell. I haven't been to the park for a few weeks, so I planned on taking advantage of it this year when I haven't for the past few years.  Went after the horrid Browns game looking for fun.

First thing, because it was raining and humid as hell and overcast, everybody with tickets gets to come back during Octoberfest for free. That was really cool, so now I can take someone free next weekend.  (Going to be there on Saturday for the before midnight last ride on the Dominator this season.)

Waited almost a half hour for the Dominator, it poured rain on the train before but bummer, not mine. Villian was WOW! Front seat, really fast, and was the best ride this year. It was the smoothest ride this year too, the water makes a difference I guess.  Rode Double Loop for two pops of air in the rear seat then over to Headspin for two good runs. Once on the Big Dipper was rougher than Villian, but still a great ride. Then, my mistake of the day.

Got on the Texas Twister, and had the best ride this year with more flipping than I remember and at least two times hanging in slow-mo against the restraints. Trouble being, did I mention I had watched the Browns lose earlier? That meant three beers and two shots and just two pieces of pizza consumed. My old friend "spin and puke" visited soon after the ride, where I got queasy, but I pressed on.

Had another Dominator run, then another run on Double Loop, and got some water from the fountain. Mistake #2. Because of all the rain/flooding we've had, it made the water taste like rust and earth so I was again starting to feel queasy, so I called it a day.

Crowds: Second time on the Dominator was thinner crowds but when I got to the park, everybody and thier family was there. Employees were actually all happy and yes, Akiva at the DL was especially happy to tell us about the free admission next weekend. Head Spin crew seemed to be the most vocal, haven't heard that crew talk so much since the first time I rode it in June.

Now, looking forward to next weekend. Last chance for a before work  Friday visit and then ride into the sunset for this year on Saturday.  Will I be saying goodbye for good to anything? Just shut up and ride :)
