THUNDERHAWK IS NOT ALONE (modified)
I took my first drive out to the park today since the closing. It was not easy to see what appears to be Thunderhawk's first drop sitting in the parking lot. Sure we have the photos in the de-construction thread, but to see it in person is another thing.
Dominator's cobra roll is in the process of being removed. I also think the high speed turn after the loop has probably been removed as well to gain access to it.
I did not get any photos of the Thunderhawk pieces in the parking lot as that has been well documented thus far on the forums. Again I would like to thank forum members dands42, HappyGoku, and tine79 who have provided the early coverage of the ride's dismantling.
BTW, as I drove up Route 43 from Solon and captured my first glimpse of the Skyscraper and Head Spin's reverse points I couldn't help but mutter a few choice words to myself. |

They planned this, they're bastards who should just disappear and move to another country. I can't believe the front page and never thought I would see the park like this in my life! It makes me sad to believe we came to this and I regret to say to I've ever visited CP. CF you have stolen my park, but my memories will never leave me.

| I applaud everyone who has gone to capture this. There is absolutely no way I will ever be able to drive down that stretch of Rt. 43 ever again. I'll look at the pictures, but I don't want to see it in person. |

I saw it for myself today and all i could say was o my god. I got very angry at the site of it. I went up to the front of gate looked at everything I could and sat their thinking this place really isn't going to be here anymore. It's all sad.

I knew it was, but when you see it it is way more than whats said on hear. Of course we all seen the pictures, but when you see it with your own eyes it hurts a lot.
