It looks like a nice addition. What is leaving the park for this ride? What ride are they selling or getting rid of? How tall is this ride? How long is it? The thing looks really big. What parks does CF own? I know they lease CGA, Gilroy, and Star Trek. Do they own the land for the other parks?

The Cincinnati Enquirer (via the Akron Beacon Journal) today quoted someone from International Theme Park Services (whatever they do) saying the coaster could be a Dive Machine and will feature a water splash. Not sure I agree with this, considering the leaked layout and land cleared.

http://www.ohio.com/news/ohio/22247714.html

I could've sworn Busch had a contract with B&M to have exclusive rights to Dive Machines in the US. And one is in China, not Canada.

Well i hope when they do put this ride in that they decide to clean up their park because i was in cincnati this weekend and my freinds went to Kings Island and they said the park was DISGUSTING,they said the rides sucked and for 2 people it was $18.98 for two 6" subs and that is way out of it !

Well hopefully they will clean up. Cleanliness when you release a new attraction is very important. Well it should be important all the time.

I've heard that the splashdown pool is a strong rumor, and yes, it will be a B&M speed coaster (the official name)

I hope this is really true. I would love to have a floorless diving coaster in Ohio. When I visited last year I thought the park was nice but did need some cleaning up and repainting. I haven't visited yet this season but plan on visiting before the end of the season.

I welcome a B&M of any kind. It's long overdue. I guess I had wanted to see an inverted a few years ago, but after riding NITRO I'd love to see one around here.

I am glad to see Kings island getting a new coaster, but I can'y help feeling like Cedarpoint will put in one nex year also that will be somehow bigger better or something totally new that will keep the spotlight at THE POINT LIKE ALWAYS...

I think CP will get a new coaster also next year and it will be something new so CP stays in the spotlight also. I would rather see a floorless/diver at CP than at KI but we will have to wait and see what happens.

not just a rumor anymore i guess

Jul. 8th, 2008 -- Kings Island filed drawings with the city of Mason that describe a B&M hypercoaster.

The plans for 2009 show the coaster going from behind the Eiffel Tower, over Rivertown and into the woods. It may be 4,200 feet long.

It looks like a good ride. It has a splash down effect. Does it have any tunnels? Are they taking out any rides for this one?

No tunnels as far as now,and no their not re-moving any rides to put this in just clearing out the trees by killing the earth, I dont like that who needs to build a roller coaster by tearing down the trees you dont need to. Thats why i hope that when they are done they level it out and grow grass there and plant a BUNCH OF TREES!
