I finally got the photos put on flickr you can see them at
http://www.flickr.com/gp/12083818@N04/e49N5k

The trip was great even if it was mostly business.
We got in on Saturday around noon and went to Disney California Adventure. It was walking distance to the hotel so we could come and go as we pleased.
Since we were tired from the trip we only walked around and rode California Screamin once.

On Sunday we headed to Magic Mountain. 60 miles north of Disney.
Very rainy, windy day. I was worried that the park would not even open.
We had to get our season passes processed so we had to go.
SFMM is only open on weekends in February.
The rain lessened as we went north and the park opened on time.
Passes processed in under 5 minutes!
This is a very clean, well run park. Superman was not running. No loss to me as I did not care. Tatsu is a blast. Fast, smooth and comfortable.
The best flying coaster that I have ever been on. Way better than X flight.
Batman, Revolution, Viper all were fun. It was great to be back in a park again. The staff were very friendly and they really seem to like their jobs.
Being so windy and damp the park did announce that they were going to close at 5. So we headed back to Disney.

Disneyland is in the same spot as California Adventure. As you go in you can head South in the courtyard to Adventure or North to Disneyland.
If you look at the photos on Flickr you'll see that both Disney parks were busy. But the longest wait for us was 45 minutes for California Screamin.
Tower of Terror was a 20 minute wait but after going it once I would wait longer. It is a fun ride. Muppets 3-D was also good. They even have an old style rocket ride called Zephyr. I did not get to ride Soarin over California or the wild mouse. Not enough time or desire.
The water ride looks like a blast but I was not in the mood to get wet. And you do get WET.
If you ever go to Disney use the Fastpass. It's free. You put your ticket in the machine and a slip comes out with a 30 minute time frame that you can come back and get on the ride quickly. If you time it right you can get your pass. Get in the normal line. Go through the wait and after riding go back and use your fastpass to ride again.
Disney really knows how to get people through a ride.
Haunted Mansion was a 10 minute wait. A lot of fun. One of the best dark rides ever. Pirates was a walk on and the new updates made this better than I expected. This is a longer ride than I expected. Space Mountain is a
great indoor coaster. Sort of like Disaster Transport would be if CP had a clue. Matterhorn was better than it looked. All in all a great relaxing time.
I will add Disney California to our trip plans in the future. The Anaheim area was clean, safe and a lot like Orlando on a smaller, more manageable scale.

With the Six Flags pass we can now go to SFGA and SFKK as planned.
It's hard to beat the Six Flags pricing. Buy one day and get the whole year free.

I'll post the videos on You Tube as soon as the editing is done.

Before I open the pictures is there any spoilers on there? Like inside the rides? I'd like to be suprised when I get to Disney or SFMM.

Nope.  Just pictures from outside.
I do have to say that even after seeing video of Disney and SFMM they are both way better than you see on video. You have got to see it to believe it.
